"Before we started working together I had an injury that was limiting my participation in my favourite sport of rock climbing, and in my other hobby of playing the mandolin. I had had the injury for several years and although various treatments had helped, they had not eased the injury to the point where I able to move normally without pain.
I was worried that the treatment at Bodhi Movement would be like the other treatments I have had and would improve the situation, but not significantly enough to enable me climb or play the mandolin without pain and limitation.
After each treatment there has been a really significant improvement in the level of pain I experience when climbing or playing the mandolin, and I have also felt - lighter and younger! When I started treatment at Bodhi Movement I was hoping only to be able to climb without pain, but I have found that I am not only climbing without pain now, but also climbing a grade (or even two) harder without trying, as I am just able to use my body more effectively, and I am amazed how quickly this has happened"

"Before meeting Sam I'd struggled to recover from spinal surgery and aged 40 had been unable to enjoy and relax back into full mobility and exercise for a few years. I had no idea really what to expect and was just happy to reduce some niggling pains I had.
I really enjoy working together on an overall health and fitness plan, and it's very refreshing to have someone have a real interest and commitment to helping me , and working through any problems to come up with various solutions. It's not a case of just having a treatment and then forgetting about it, for me it's a necessary way of life for continued health and fitness, a real partnership.
I really can't say enough about the way working with Sam has changed my life, I feel confident in exercise and have a whole bag of stretches/yoga to fall back on and have worked some into an almost daily routine for health and fitness. And at any point I need help or advice I know it's just at the end of an email".

"Before I started to see Sam, I had been suffering with lower back pain for some time, and I had developed a shoulder injury. I spend a lot of time on my feet and realised that without some good treatment I would not be able to continue as I was. Recurring pain due to work, play and general posture was affecting my life.
I was concerned that it might only be a short term solution to the pain I was getting, and I was also unsure that I would be able to afford it.
Working with Sam has been a real triumph for me. It has been a good process in helping me not only understand why I was getting and do get some pain, but how to help myself manage that pain, without having to affect my favourite activities.
My best result of working with Sam is that now I have been helped to identify the certain issues which affect me, I think first of my body and how doing anything physical might affect me and what I can do to reduce that effect. I have also been taught how to build my core strength and use that as a basis for everything I do. I have since realised that I couldn't afford not to have started working with Sam"

"Before working with Sam I was having terrible pains in my calves and ankles during long walks, resulting in me not being able to enjoy the great outdoors. I did not have any reservations as Sam came highly recommended by a work colleague.
The process of working with Sam has been very good, she is very polite and welcoming and is very thorough in her work. Sam has also showed me various exercises for me to do at home which has helped in the recovery time and I am now able to enjoy my walking again".
